VELO 17U SOFTBALL TEAM
To provide a competitive opportunity for High School aged Softball players in West Michigan while keeping costs low.
We want these girls to get as many competitive innings as possible under a coach who understands the game from both the physical and mental perspectives.
GOAL:
Jadyn Joseph, current 2B for Ferris State University, will coach the team. Jadyn brings 4 years of college softball to the dugout to provide the players with a robust experience!
To ensure players get the maximum amount of competitive innings, the roster will consist of 10 players (up to 12 with 2 pitcher only).

COACH & ROSTER:
Schedule will include weekend tournaments and weekday games played no further than Kalamazoo, Midland, and Traverse City. Most games are focused in the Mt Pleasant & GR areas.
The schedule is tailored to the players! Girls can play as much as they can in June & July!

Every Saturday morning, baseball & softball hitters get an hour of focused hitting instruction! Players work closely with coaches to improve mechanics, develop their approach, and challenge themselves to be better hitters!
Camps are drop-in!
DEVELOPMENT FOCUS

Instructors work with hitters of all ages for both baseball & softball. Emphasis for younger players is developing skills that scale to higher level play. Emphasis for older players is developing skills that scale to the Varsity baseball level & beyond!

Instructors emphasize the catching skills that most affect a game with experienced pulled from both playing & coaching at the collegiate level.
